Tommy Smith and Peter Johnstone present two generations of Scottish jazz mastery in a world class performance. Internationally acclaimed saxophonist Smith has appeared with jazz greats including Gary Burton, Dame Cleo Laine and Jack DeJohnette and has recorded for leading labels Blue Note and ECM Records. Pianist Johnstone is a former Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year who works regularly with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and leads a group including New York vibes master Joe Locke. Their concerts feature jazz classics by Duke Ellington, Stan Getz and Chick Corea as well as Smith originals in exciting, spontaneous musical conversations.
