Beacon Youth Theatre

For ages 5 - 21

Are you aged between 5 and 21? Beacon Youth Theatre invites you to bring your imagination, share your ideas, tell stories about your life, then work with other young people to make your stories – and theirs – come alive on the Beacon Arts Centre stage.

Beacon Young Company

For ages 16 - 21

Are you interested in pursuing a career in the arts? Beacon Young Company invites young people aged between 16 and 21 to focus on devised work, how to become a theatre-maker and performance opportunities.

Platinum Dance

For ages 55+

Are you aged 55+ and looking to brush up your dancing skills – or perhaps learn some new steps?

Adult Dance Lab

For ages 18+

Do you want to learn more about contemporary dance technique and choreography? Adult Dance Lab Classes are fun and accessible.

Dance For Parkinson's

Our weekly Dance for Parkinson's sessions can help with participants' balance, coordination, confidence and creativity in a fun and friendly environment.

Dementia Friendly Social Dances

Your whole family is welcome at our monthly Dementia Friendly Social Dances, presented in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland.

Primary and Secondary schools across Inverclyde are invited to get involved in our two schools projects each year.

Dynamic Drawing Workshop

with Fraser Taylor

A vibrant five-day workshop exploring a range of traditional and contemporary approaches to drawing, taking inspiration form the stunning landscape and views surrounding Beacon Arts Centre.

There will be an emphasis on experimentation, exploring processes and techniques which will provide a dynamic vocabulary of mark making and images.
