"It was an age of miracles, it was an age of arts, it was an age of excess,". The Roaring Twenties! New York. Paris. Berlin. Award-winning chanteuse, Christine Bovill, returns to the Beacon with "Speakeasy".

Revisiting the golorious songs and stories from the Jazz Age, Christine invites us into the fascinating world of the decade's three great "sin cities". The era of flappers, vamps, prohibition, women's suffrage, the birth of radio...She journeys back to the devine decadence of Weimar Berlin and the cultural richness of Paris' "Crazy Years". A decade of heroes and villains; of sex scandals; literary giants and criminal low lives - all beautifully bound in the seductive rhythms of jazz.
