Artist Talk & Exhibition Walkthrough with Fiona Robertson
Join us for an insightful afternoon with Glasgow-based artist Fiona Robertson, whose multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and experimental film. This special event includes a talk exploring the themes, processes, and collaborations that inform her work followed by an artist-led walkthrough of her current exhibition.
Fiona studied at Chelsea School of Art, Glasgow School of Art, and the Warsaw Academy of the Arts. She has been a Lecturer in the Painting and Printmaking Department at Glasgow School of Art since the late 1990s. Her work has been screened and exhibited internationally, including selections at renowned film festivals such as Oberhausen and Go Short, and most recently in her 2024 solo exhibition SALTHOUSE at the Reid Corridor Gallery.
Known for her frequent collaborations with performance and theatre makers, Fiona will reflect on projects such as her 2017 site-specific installation and film Bad Sheep, created for a touring performance promenade.
