A multi-award winning musician with a hugely varied career spanning many decades, Malcolm MacFarlane plays a solo Beacon Jazz Club show.

Covering myriad genres with artists such as Barbara Thompson, Jamie Cullum, Tom Jones, Mr. McFall’s Chamber, the BBC SSO, the Red Note Ensemble and his own groups such as the highly innovative, and lauded, Scottish Guitar Quartet, he continues to grow and explore new territory and 2026 sees the launch of this very special solo project.

This new music delves into a very personal journey using state of the art technology to create, and realise, unique original compositions. Incredibly prolific, there are three albums of material already available!
